Gateway Requests per Day

Shows the number of requests per day to the ipfs.io and dweb.link gateways. The categories became more detailed over time, and the vertical lines mark these changes. In reverse chronological order:

From the Distinguish Status Code line (February 2026)

A request counts in the first category of this list that matches:

• Badbits: status code 410 or 451.
• Redirect: status code 301 or 302.
• Blocked: status code 401 or 429, or the request triggered a Cloudflare security action.
• Served: status code 2xx.
• Other: all other requests.

From 2025-07-09 (the Distinguish Served/Blocked line)

• Blocked requests triggered a Cloudflare security action. This includes badbits requests.
• Served requests are all other requests, including redirects.

Before 2025-07-09

Unknown requests are from a period where we have no data on whether a request was served or blocked. They only show how many requests the gateways received.

From 2025-07-09, the data comes from the Cloudflare logs of the two gateways.
